Sr. Back-end Developer

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design and maintain data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
Mine data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganize said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for an experienced mortgage loan processor to join our team! CALYX POINT CENTRAL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. As one of our processors, you will be responsible for processing all types of loans from residential to commercial, from conventional to Government, from QM to non-QM.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Ensure the submitted loan goes to closing on time and loan packages are compliant
Be borrower’s main point of contact and be the mediator between the lender and MLO. Communicate and escalate issues to MLO or management as needed to coordinate the approval process
Call out all conditions and obtain/review items from customers to obtain underwriting clearance
Complete information necessary for the closing of the loan including contacting the attorney for setting the closing date, insurance agent for the insurance policy, flood cert., etc. Schedules closing and coordinates notary
Validate all income and employment verification
Prepare file for submission to underwriting
Be responsible for ensuring proper compliance and adhere to industry regulations and standards
Consistent follow up with borrowers regarding loan status, and provide over the top customer service
Maintain the highest level of discretion and management of confidential and sensitive information
Manage a loan pipeline
Review file received from originator/correspondent lender for necessary documentation and disclosures
Follow up on any documentation that has not been received, including ordering the appraisal, FHA/VA case numbers, and alternate documentation if required
Evaluate documentation received for correctness and completeness
Follow up on any additional requirements by the underwriter
Communicate with the originator and applicant concerning the progress of the loan file
Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
Currently holds a resident state P&C insurance license, other non-resident state licenses a plus
